Pay with MTN MoMo or the wallet on Abaqwa
One Abaqwa account has one wallet in FCFA. You use it to pay for rides, parcels, hotel bookings, bus tickets and rentals, instead of juggling several apps.
Payment is handled by QuataPay, a sibling Abaqwa product. At checkout you choose to pay from the wallet balance, or with MTN Mobile Money. The wallet is an in-app balance used to pay for Abaqwa services: Abaqwa is not a bank.
How to pay
- Pick a service in the Abaqwa app and confirm the order.
- At checkout, choose the wallet or MTN Mobile Money.
- For Mobile Money, approve the payment on your phone as prompted.
- Your balance is shown in the app.
- Visa and Mastercard card payments are not offered at the moment.
